Hi, I’m Christina Jovonn, and I’m passionate about helping caregivers and new mothers find balance, calm, and resilience through mindfulness and compassionate support.
My journey into mindfulness and caregiving began with a deeply personal experience that shaped both who I am and the work I do today.
In 2006, my mom suffered a massive stroke, which left her needing full-time care. The emotional toll of this experience triggered severe panic attacks that led me to the hospital. That’s when I discovered yoga—not just as a practice, but as a lifeline for managing anxiety, regulating my breathing, and reconnecting with myself.
As my mom spent more time in and out of nursing homes, I saw firsthand the limitations of institutional care. Determined to give her the quality of life she deserved, I brought her home and became her full-time caregiver. This journey has been filled with challenges, but it’s also been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Before becoming a caregiver, I had already built a foundation as a yoga and mindfulness teacher, specializing in working with families and caregivers. With over five years of experience, I’ve taught others how to reduce stress, create space for self-care, and build meaningful connections through mindfulness. My personal experience as a caregiver has deepened my understanding of the emotional and physical toll caregiving takes and the transformative power of mindfulness and yoga.
Today, I use my expertise to support caregivers and new mothers through:
• Mindfulness Coaching for Caregivers: Empowering you to release stress, manage overwhelm, and nurture your emotional well-being.
• Postpartum Doula Services: Offering compassionate care, guidance, and support for new moms navigating the postpartum journey.
My mission is to help you feel grounded, supported, and empowered—because your well-being matters just as much as the people you care for.
When I’m not teaching or supporting clients, you can find me practicing yoga, reading, exploring nature, or spending time with my mom, who continues to inspire my work every day.
