Caregiver Wellness offers individualized, whole-person support designed with the realities of caregiving in mind. Together, we create space for your well-being without asking you to step away from the life you’re actually living.
Caregiving can quietly shape nearly every part of life—your routines, relationships, energy, body, work, rest, and sense of self.
And when someone you love depends on you, caring for yourself isn’t always as simple as scheduling a break or adding another wellness practice to your day.
This work begins with something different: understanding you.
What are you carrying? What feels difficult right now? What helps you feel more like yourself? And what kind of support could realistically fit within your life?
There is no expectation that you do more, push harder, or create a perfect self-care routine. We begin where you are.
My work with caregivers is both professional and personal.
As a caregiver myself, I understand that wellness can look very different when your time, attention, and energy are intertwined with someone else’s needs. Sometimes a practice happens in a quiet room. Sometimes it happens beside a hospital bed, between appointments, or in the few minutes you have before someone needs you again.
That understanding shapes the way I approach caregiver wellness: with flexibility, curiosity, compassion, and respect for the realities of your life.
I don’t believe caregivers need another person telling them what they should be doing. I believe they need spaces where their needs matter, too.
Caregiving changes—and so can what you need to feel supported within it. The MAGICAL Caregiver Journey unfolds through three interconnected six-week phases, with each phase beginning with a new assessment, updated goals, and an individualized practice.
We begin with where you are right now—not where you think you should be. This phase creates space to notice what caregiving has been asking of your body, mind, energy, and everyday life while beginning to reconnect with your own needs.
This might include a new intake and assessment, breath and body awareness, restorative practices, gentle movement, grounding, noticing stress patterns, and creating an initial personalized home practice.
MAGICAL emphasis:
Mindfulness • Awareness • Grounding • Loving-Kindness
Here, we reassess. What has shifted? What are you noticing? What feels supportive—and what isn’t?
This phase could explore physical tension and fatigue, nervous-system regulation, boundaries and capacity, rest, energy, movement, and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have gotten quieter within caregiving.
MAGICAL emphasis:
Awareness • Grounding • Intention • Affirmation
This is where we look at what sustainable well-being means within your caregiving reality. Instead of creating an ideal routine, we identify practices and rhythms that can expand and contract depending on your capacity.
We could explore connection, identity, meaningful activities outside the caregiver role, flexible wellness rhythms, support systems, self-compassion, and a personalized continuation plan.
MAGICAL emphasis:
Connection • Intention • Affirmation • Loving-Kindness
We begin with a conversation about your caregiving experience, your well-being, and what you would like support with.
Rather than focusing on one symptom or practice, we consider the interconnected relationship between your body, breath, mind, energy, environment, relationships, and everyday life.
Together, we explore practices that fit your actual capacity and circumstances—not an idealized version of your schedule.
Caregiving changes. Your needs may change with it. Our work can adapt as your circumstances, capacity, and priorities shift.
You spend so much time noticing what someone else needs. This can be a space to notice what you need.
Whether you’re looking for individualized support, exploring caregiver wellness for an organization, or simply wondering where to begin, I’d be glad to talk with you.
